Quilled Stained Glass Design

I created this project to  participate in the Hamster Challenge 8. The rules say thatI have to create a project using red ,yellow.white and black colours. I found this stained glass pattern and used it for quilling. The paper I used is very thin and the lines are not in perfect condition. I wanted to make the flower prominent. So I didn't use any technique for the background. I used several techniques  for the flower.

LEMONS

                             Lemons

Here's my latest creation. I finished it within few hours. The small flowers were the most difficult to quill. Lol ! I used some very thin wires for the net behind the lemons. I couldn't think of anything else to use there. I like this type of quilling now. They are fun to create. I hope to hear the comments!

After much effort I am able to finish this lovely bambi picture. It took me few days to finish this with all the other work. This is the first time I tried my hand on such a picture and I am happy at the end. Well, I hope more will follow this.

Dimension Addition to quilled flowers.

It was a really bad day today. There was a power cut. So we didn't have power for the whole day. So I did some quilling after so many days. I started with no aim and ended up with finishing some flowers. it looks like an orchid. I will add  the completed project soon.

I wanted to practice adding dimension to flowers after I saw this blog post by Pritesh Ananth Krishnan http://quillingmesoftlee.blogspot.in/2013/06/tutorial-dimension-addition-to-quilled.html

Pink flower is done by me and the blue flower is done by my daughter. It really gives a 3D effect and really useful. Tx Pritesh!

There are few really nice drawings there which can be quilled.

Happy quilling!

                                 Quilled doll

My daughter wanted me to create a doll for one of her friend's birthday. This is it. Behind the doll is a bird cage. I wanted to create a bird also but it didn't come out as I like. So I kept some eggs in it. Unfortunately I couldn't take a photograph of the eggs.
I cut paper into tiny nbits to create the grass effect. This doll is created on a CD. I pasted a paper doily on it and some flowers in a rush!

Quilling

Hi, This is my latest creation. I learnt how to make the petals from Prithesh Ananth Krishnan of Quilling me softly blog.  The tutorials were really helpful.

I used some sequins and beads as the center  of the flowers. Yeah I think it added a speciality to the flowers.

Quilling

Practice makes us perfect so I thought this flower is perfect  for that. I found this flower here. This is my version of the same flower. Picnik gave a perfect touch to it. I love that website <3
